Robert, like I have said before, you might be right and I might be wrong.  You point is less flexible.

No again Kernal..you are the one belongs to yet another cult with very rigid beliefs, where you are learning lies by heart, suggesting your silly "University" is the be all and end all for our time.

I on the other hand am sharing with you facts about Jesus that if followed through by you will awaken your sleeping self to finally understand that Jesus was with God in the beginning..and all things were created "through” Him..just read the book of John..John with an open mind (shock me Kernal,),  open your narrow dogmatic mind and let the Sun of Rightousness shine in..that is Jesus.  Only Jesus has the authority given Him by His Father to forgive our imperfections..not your pineal gland nor your teachers, nor your silly system, nor your one million devotees..only Jesus and not Christianity Kernal..not any religion on planet earth.

Like I said Robert, you might be right.  Right?

But when you say:

"This year is the fortieth year I (you) have been a
disciple and follower of Jesus and
His Holy Spirit...

What you you mean by "His Holy Spirit"?  Is the holy spirit something that originates of or from Jesus?  Is this what you are claiming?

Kernal     TOP SECRET..BURN AFTER READING..TOSS IT INTO THE SON..II MEAN SUN

For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

      Malachi 4, King James Version

Matthew 17:1-13

Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led thereupon a high mountain by themselves;   and He was transfigured before them. His face did shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.   And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.  Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us  make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."   While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!"   And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid.   But Jesus came and touched them and said, "Arise, and do not be afraid."   When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.   Now as they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, "Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead."   And His disciples asked Him, saying, "Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?"   Jesus answered and said to them, "Indeed, Elijah is coming first  and will restore all things.   But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him but did to him whatever they wished. Likewise the Son of Man is also about to suffer at their hands."   Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them of John the Baptist.

The Philokalia (ancient Greek Orthodox manuscripts from early church fathers), has this to say about that awesome event.

“ Jesus Christ was transfigured at the Mount of Transfiguration,  not by the addition of something, He was not, nor by the transformation into something He was not, but by the manifestation to His disciples of what He really was. He opened their eyes so that instead of being blind they could see.  While He Himself remained the same, they could now see Him as other than He appeared to them formerly.  For He is the “true” light (John 1:9), the beauty of divine glory, and He shone forth like the sun-though His image is imperfect, since what is created cannot be imaged in creation without some diminution.

           FROM “THE PHILOKALIA”

But earlier, when you said:

"This year is the fortieth year I (you) have been a
disciple and follower of Jesus and
His Holy Spirit...

What you you mean by "His Holy Spirit"?  Is the holy spirit something that originates of or from Jesus?  Is this what you are claiming?

THE HOLY pirit of God the Father is now universally available to mankind. Would you like to be filled with it from the crown of your head to the souls of your feet?

Kernal "appearantly" (cant quite figure out hpow to spell this word “appearantly”,  help me out Kernal), wonders..I say "appearantly" because sometimes he is simply pretending to be “wondering” and momentarily open minded..but in this case it gives me and Jesus and the Holy Spirit of God my Father to generously share more Truth about how God works and sometimes smirks.. and  how God so freely and so generously strives to pluck sleeping souls from their otherwise fate of sheer oblivion (and in some cases the eternal wailing and gnshing of teeth.  Kernal what is the  latest diag not gnosis  with your teeth?

back to the subject at hand...K    asks What you you mean by "His Holy Spirit"?  Is the holy spirit something that originates of or from Jesus?  Is this what you are claiming?

Robert the seer and sheer anomoley and escapee from Asylum Earth responds deleriously but expertly, open eyed and unentranced   “First the utmost and most Holy Spirit is an aspect, an emanation a manifestation, a glorious billowing, silent and deafening,  and radiant, all permeating, immense, and all encompassing fixer of broken machinelike humans, advisor and teacher, corrector, director, inspirer to open  minds,  of and part of  God, (YHVH to be more exact),  of the bible Kernal..(.KJ version of course..lol),

Now this sounds like Jesus does it not?  Well, it is Jesus in essence since He and the forementioned and most august Holy  Spirit are one..and one of the  same.

When Jesus wrapped up His earthly, physical ministry, was tortured to death, lingered for three days in that terminal state and then was restored...breathed back to full living color by His Daddy,   (not Dadi , breather of tired, expired, misfired slogans for the  unitiated Kernal nor anyone associated with that Burger Queen, I regret the phonetic similarity), God His Father,  the most transcendent Artist and  Creator of the utmost totality of ultimate reality,   (((BITS AND BYTES of quanta TO YOU, and your tiny, minisculed definition of your “soul” that   you borrowed from your Dadi’s, also borrowed vocabulary, found in  a tattered raggedy book, tossed away by an unhappy Yogi fakir, on his way to  meet a more advanced practitioner of Solar Yoga, that he had just ben informed about by a devotee of  an authentic spiritually certified Sufi, a plaiin brown wrapper (and rapper), of Homerific poetry, maxims, and pithy sayings, similar to your arch protaganist we know as Khem))),  “breathed” on Him by the most mysterious and most invisible and powerful Holy Spirit, and Shazam!, bam bam bam,  (three bams Kernal, pay attention), Jesus was instantly elevated and enthroned to sit at the  right hand of His Father, for the rest of Eternity, (passing time to you Kernal), and placed in that supreme spiritual and magisterial place of judgement, power, and responsibility, over All and  Everything existent, moprphed and transformed as previewed in the Holy Bible from its Genesis to its Revelatory ending, now elevated to the most prominent authority in all the universes (since there are several interpenetrating “us” at all times and places, have you noticed?),   probobly not again sinnce you have been bkinded and deafened by the constant din of the Rin Tin Tin litteny  of your avowed and beloved, soft and puffy "Whoppers",  ascending from the fiery bowels of that pit below, filled with vipers, spiritual snipers and long ago tossed away as worn out window wipers that could be cleaning your windows and allowing yoour eyes to  enable you to see the Truth sauce  instead of the BK nonsense sauce you are addicted to.

Probobly not since you have not been taught the truth of our factual ...actual Cosmolgy yet).

Now!  that long  winded explanation was typed at one sitting, and will be littered with a few typos since I was “out of breath” and practicing a new unexplored effort to penetrate, penetrate and hopefully obliterate your stonewalled edifice you have almost “innocently” been subjected too by the diet of” "Whoppers”, and tall towering tales, oh so generously provided to you during yur  “nappy” time,  because of the deep hypnotic trance you have volunteered your sleeping,  Soul/Self/Consciouness, unto the mahahahahah- rishis over there in  the farthest easterly ground of planet earth.

to wrap it All and Everything up into One tidy packet, we have God the Father (that is not your father since  you have chosen a step father, or perhaps not chosen him but he was foisted  on you by the cult leaders that waved their hands hypnotically like Mandrake the Magician of olden times ,(google), and submerged your being in a much (much),  deeper enchantment than you already were asleep inside, a grey thick, lifeless, muck and mired, very very tired and plum tuckered out cloud, (the “cloud of unknowing)...then we have His son Jesus, and furthermore we have their Holy Spirit as She, to finish off the entire, Most Holy Absolute and inseperable trio, for you to “WAKE UP” to, once you begin noticing the alarm clock pealing and appealing to  what little awareness you may have in your deep torpor, your so far, inpenetrable trance.

again dear Kernal (of truth), forgive the typps I was turning purple from that long breath taken in my feeble attempt to define that trinity of ONE that I adhere too and associated with so humbly and so so so Thankfully for the “forty” years of blissful childlike co dependence.

AMEN,  Ho Tep Long Step Hip Hop Top Step

Robert, the holy spirit of God has been universally available to mankind forever.  I love watching Sunday morning praise and worship services on TV or chanting Buddhists or those doing Poohja become filled with the holy spirit.  I am cautioned, however, against the temptation to engage in such display and informed that the holy spirit can best be received while sitting in peace and silence.  No objects or aids or postures or rituals or worship rites are rquired to commune directly with God or should I say the holy spirit OF or FROM God.  God can be approached as a point of self conscient energy that radiates the essense of light and life.  Do you think the holy spirit is only accessible through Jesus?  I don't and billions on this planet would agree.  The real question is how to stay connected 24/7 and this is why we are taught to do yoga-meditation (connection) with eyes open.  With proper instruction, some find this easy to learn.

If I understand correctly, you use a form of Christian yoga in which to meditate with eyes wide open but fixed in the direction of the sun.  Some here might be interested to hear more about this technique.  You should reveal more to us.  Most Christians are unaware of Christian Yoga.  Where is it taught?  Or is it a mystery secret?

Very simple, Kernel.  The message only appears to be of hope.  In reality it leads one through the gate that is wide.  Ie., Matt 7.13-14  "Enter ye in at the strait gate:  for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

I have heard innumerable messages that seem to give hope, much as dadi janki's.  It is a fleeting hope at best and one that does not truly satisfy, because it is not based on truth (Jesus).  And again, I fully understand how that is very difficult to accept.  As I stated a few days ago, hardly anyone wants to believe that the path they are following is not the right path.  I liken it to someone who their whole life has been taught that evolution is true.  And then when presented with the truth, will preferably deny the truth so as to not feel foolish in having believed a lie all of their life.

It is very simple....there is truth, and there is also lie and deception.  I am critical of lie and deception.  I know that is not easy to swallow or accept.

doug,

I asked, "How come you would describe Jesus' message as one of hope and why when someone who is not a Christian gives a message of hope you are critical?"

To this you reply that, in this case, Dadi Janki's message only appears to be of hope but leads one through a wide gate and that this gate leads to destruction.  Then you further dismiss her  message by making the generalized statement that you have heard countless messages like this that give an erroneous message of hope because they are not based on the truth of Jesus.

Doug, I thought there was only one truth and that this one truth is not isolated to one person or creed.  I understand it is accessible and has been revealed over time by different people, at different times for different cultures - according to circumstance and need.  If you wish, doug, you can claim that this one truth is not only God's truth and that your saviour Jesus Christ is God.  In so doing you create an impenetrable fortress of truth that not only protects but confines - for the truth you hold can only be penetrated by the followers of God-Jesus.  The truth that Dadi Janki refers to can be accessed by people of any creed.

In reality, you have pointed to nothing in what Dadi Janki said that was in contradiction to the same truth(es) echoed by Jesus 2000 years ago.  Here's what I suspect is really going on. . .  You found your savior in Jesus Christ.  I'm not sure the carpenter intended that he would become your savior or the savior of the world so much as the truth/knowledge that he projected and the example that he set would serve the world.

Believe me doug, Dadi Janki is no savior.  She is a person essentially like me or you.  The difference is that, like Jesus, she embarked (from childhood) on the path of self-mastery and love of God.  She lives a life of utmost discipline, love and world service.  Her message is not about finding a saviour, it is about becoming the master of your own living self.  To do this we must first understand the essence of the soul.  Then, and only then, can we enter into a stage of full communion with the Supreme Soul - GOD.

Dadi Janki and a number of other surrendered sisters have walked through a gate so narrow that it would be hard to compare it to the wide open gate of Christian salvation made available through by many Christian sects.  Is Christian salvation spoken of in Matthew?  If not doug, tell me of this gate and what is needed to traverse it.  Was Jesus, for example, celibate?

So doug, it does not seem to be Dadi Janki's actual message that you object to.  Then is it the fact that she is not a Christian, like you, that caused the fear and trepidation you express?   The presentation that Khem so kindly posted is part of an 8 part series entitled from Earth to the Sky.  After passing through the narrow gate, here s what Dadi speaks of.

    1/ Silence
    2/ Understanding God *
    3/ Love
    4/ Fearlessness
    5/ Determination
    6/ Truth
    7/ Co-operation
    8/ Humility

For me doug, this discussion is more about angels that finding a human savior at this time.

Kernel,

I guess we are on different pages...or something like that.  Dadi Janki's path of self mastery means close to nothing, if she has not made peace with God.  And the ONLY way that she or anyone else can make peace with God is through accepting the gift of salvation offered by Jesus Christ.  That is the point I am trying to make.  There are tow ultimate masters of the sould:  God and Satan.  If we have ever sinned (and the Bible says that "all have sined"), then Satan is the master of our soul.  The only way to free ourselves from the mastery of Satan and sin is to come to Jesus, which is why the Bible says, "who the son has set free, is free indeed" (John 8.36).

Yes, Jesus was celibate...though that has nothing to do with him being saviour.

Yes, there is only one truth, and it has been diluted, watered down, twisted, perverted, and denied.  But it is still the same truth.  And thta is that only through Jesus can we have peace with God.  Anything else may temporarily seem to bring that peace, but is only ephemeral by comparison.

You say surrendered sisters...to what have they surrendered?  and I do not asked that lightly.  If a person has not surrendered their will to God (and again, this is the God of the Bible, the only true God, by accepting Jesus as their Lord and Saviour), then they have surrendered their will to Satan, and that may surely look (deceptively) like the way to go.  That is why I wrote a few days ago that all paths lead to the same god, and that god has many names (Allah, Ishwar, Krshna, and millions of other names, including Satan).  The only path that does not go that way, is that of Jesus...and that is why Jesus is so maligned throughout the world and history.

Each of those 8 points you list can surely be found in deception.  I believe you that Dadi Janki is no saviour...but she needs a saviour just as everyone else does.

I teach it a select group of Christians Kernal.  Once you admit the extreme poverty of your current beliefs, repent and receive Jesus then you can be a candidate.

Ideally you will also inquire about another gift  that Jesus Father, El Supremo, the Holy Ghost and Jesus have waiting for you..the awesome an empowering" baptism in the Holy Spirit" as found in the book of Acts.(read it  Kernal in preparation for that empowering)

That second baptism ignited the infant church with tongues of fire, to launch al rockets with a great power that had not been available before Jesus sent it after His resurrection.

Jeff, what does it mean to put Satan behind thee?

Jesus turned and said to Peter,
"Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me;
you do not have in mind the
things of God, but the things of men."

                                                             – Matt 16:23

What does it mean to believe in Satan when Jesus taught that Satan is a stumbling block?

Your theology is based on the notion of Satan.  Mine is not.

As a mature adult, when I seriously considered becoming a Christian, I struggled with the idea of accepting the notion of Satan into my head.  The essence Christianity itself presented no problem to me.  However, every time I visited and revisited the concept of Satan I could not accept bringing the concept of a discarnate entity called Satan into my life.  One cannot become a Christian without sustaining a belief in Satan.  Right doug.  As you know, I do not consider myself a Christian.

This putting the notion of Satan behind me, I have absolutely no regrets and in fact found that a number of other learning and spiritual development experiences became apparent.

Doug, your notion that:

“There are two ultimate masters of the soul:  God and Satan.”

. . . may be your understanding but I understand that “I” – the soul, have been given Free Will and that neither God nor something called Satan is my master.  God’s new revelation is not only one that I AM A SOUL but that through knowledge and effort I am the master of my-self – whether I wish to recognize and live up to this responsibility or not.  The choice is mine.  Was Jesus not full master of his-self?  This is the paradigm that is now merging into the consciousness of many.  As you know, there are now over 1M students who attend class at Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University on a daily basis.  You are seeing a movement which for it’s first 50 years was exclusively focused on quality.  Expansion has only occurred for the past 25 years.  To East and West alike, this knowledge brings a new perspective that is now being recognized.  All this administered by a once obscure group of virgins headquartered in India.

Doug, you affirm that Jesus was celibate but that this had nothing to do with him being saviour.  Nothing?  Do you mean that if Jesus did not live a celibate life that this would have had no impact on his role as saviour of humankind?  I suppose if you believe Jesus is God and God Jesus (one in the same), then it didn’t matter much what practices he observed.  Is that what you’re implying?

As you know, I see Jesus as a human soul not as God Himself.  As such, I view him as  what today we know as a wondering ascetic (itinerate preacher).  In this way, history records a number of great souls or seers who assumed this role/approach.  Of course in this day, it is no longer necessary for an “awakened one” to leave the family and wonder the globe.  In a number of ways I think dattaswami understands what I’m getting at.

Yes, I refer to the Dadis and their associates as surrendered sisters.  You asked, what did they surrender.  They surrendered their lives to God and a life of World Service.  The Dadi’s, like Janki Ben, did this at a young age and now at 95+ years, she continues to tirelessly travel spreading peace and purity.

Doug, you believe that Dadi Janki needs a Saviour.  Her saviour, if you persist in using this framework is Supreme Father-God.  Her understanding however is that souls (at least some) can achieve their stage of perfection while here on earth at this point in time.  The idea is that this is achieved through knowledge of self, continuous connection with Father-God and self-mastery.

But look, the life of Dadi Janki is in fully view.  You can challenge the wisdom of her approach to Understanding Self, The Experience of God and World Service because she is not a Christian, like you, but her unshakable faith and the faith of the other surrendered sisters has resulted in service on a global scale.  How does a group of unmarried women create such results without alignment with the will of God.

Painter her as inspired by evil forces rather than have the courage to actually investigate what is afoot.  Even Jeff H. made an effort before leaving this site.  Unfortunately he did so with bias and in his own interest.  As for the 8 points mentioned earlier, they are each clickable – if you dare look into what Dadi really says.
