I was considering the concept of "nothing" yesterday, and how it is used as the foundation of the 2 prevalent beliefs of the beginning of all that we are and all that we have.  A simplification of this goes as follows:  in the natural world, we are taught that in the beginning there was "nothing", and that this "nothing" exploded to give everything that now exists.  At the opposite corner is the Bible, which says that in the beginning there was nothing (only God), and that God SPOKE, and by his word created all that there is out of nothing.

It is given to each person to decide BY FAITH (since neither can be scientifically proven) which scenario is most reasonable.

This is the scenario that actually happened (no "faith" required):

In the Beginning, there was nothing. And it pleased God not to be the God of nothing.

Therefore God said, ‘Truly, I Am in a Terrible Situation’. And God did ponder the Terror of His Situation.

After who knows how many aeons of Being-pondering, God came to a 'Realization'.

‘I Am not the God of nothing, after all! I Am God of The Nothing, because if nothing is anything, it is Real. Therefore, I Am now and forevermore the God of Is Real!’

As soon as God gave voice to His Realization, the same did become all of Reality, and therefore did manifest as a Consuming Fire.
