If the UPFs efforts in unifying the world's major religions is truly a benign force within the political structures, and even a significant influence within the UN as it claims, working towards true peace, then go for it. I personally don't really care, as I remain an atheist working for the same peace. At least we can all say we have peace as our main goal at the end of the day.
