My question for the OSR community:
Why are huge numbers of people incapable of taking, or are unwilling to take, responsibility for themselves, intellectually, allowing other people to proscribe their lives?

Hi Jane, I would not like to give the impression that religion is truth. I have presented this point of view as one side of an argument - that's all. Monotheistic religions are the source of great sorrow on the planet at present - yet they each contain "ancient" knowledge, wisdom and truth. My thing is - with the ability of billions of individuals to explore and discuss what we think is really going I hope that notions of what it means to be spiritual can be modernized. The notion that God created the universe when science has demonstrated, at least to my satisfaction that matter/energy is eternal - It's always been around. - cheers
