About the GØD,G0D,or GOD, hypothesis: GØD (an acronym, not a noun) is Being itself--physically, mentally and spiritually.

What religion or philosophy, if any, do you adhere to?
Yes, but a non-sectarian one--The United Church of Canada. We observe four of the 10 Commandments--ones having to do with loving GOD/G0D, others and self. The Rest? We say, jokingly, "Do the best you can!" And it is disorganized enough so as not to be dangerous. It is more deedal, than creedal--deeds, not creeds. It is involved in social activism.

My question for the OSR community:
How familiar are you with the study of pneumatology, and how important is spirituality to you? theology of unitheism? (check out Wikipedia for both items. Similar to panentheism.) Most illnesses have a pneumatological root--sicknesses of the spirit. For example, a broken heart, which can affect us mentally and physically.

A SCIENCE OF THE SPIRIT--Is it possible?

==================================

Pneumatology. Although I did not know it at the time, I began studying pneumatology when I was 17. In preparation for my chosen career. As early as nine it came to me that I would like to be a minister. At twelve (1942) I actually told this to my minister at the time--The Rev. Reginald Rowsell--that I hoped to qualify for and become a minister of the United Church of Canada. He was a graduate of Mount… Read More

G0D is in, through and around all that IS--including the Secular and the Sacred

The great mystery of life is, in my opinion: Out of the no-thing, or 0 (zero), comes all that is; all goodness, order and desirable design--the beautiful, good and true, which are still in the process of being completed.

And, if we so choose, we are part of the process. As such, we have a very important role to play. How willing are you to be involved?

CONNECT, COMMUNICATE, CONTEMPLATE & MEDITATE

I recently read an essay which raised the question: What is the point of prayer?

++++++++

This question reminded me that, decades ago, as a newly ordained minister I was having a problem understanding the nature and function of prayer. Because of this, I decided to pray about praying. This idea came to me--perhaps from G0D. It came in the form of a brief comment and a question:

An inner voice said to me: Instead of giving G0D a list of all the awful things that… Read More

UNITHEISM + HOLOTHEISM--GOD (GØD or God) is All Being--the One from which all emanates, and the whole to which all proceeds

UNITHEISM+HOLOTHEISM and the philosophy, science and art of religions. ================================================

I like the concept behind the word 'panentheism', which I take as a doublet of unitheism. However, I prefer using unitheism because it avoids confusion with pantheism. Over the past month (March, 2009), while on holiday in Florida, I studied and underlined the book, The GOD delusion. As a result of this, it came to me to coin and add the word 'holotheism" to the dialogue.… Read More

Sup Rev. i'd be here more if I also understood the social aspects of this place a little better. It helped that you commented me. As long as I'm talking I guess that's the current social aspect.

Those comments had weird dates because I haven't signed in for a long long time, and naturally, people lost interest in talking to the corpse of my page... But I've resuscitated it now.

The "gift" thing is just some dumb thing people do. If you go on Jeff H's page he's got a gift. They're just pictures as far as I can tell. ???

Also, not that it matters, but I'm not a man of dates and it's special to me that I can correct someone on this. It was November Tuesday the 3rd, 2009, just so you know.
