What religion or philosophy, if any, do you adhere to?
a bit of buddhism, a bit of jain, a large bite of believing in a black hole as the sole creator of our solar system, and other black holes creating more in other places, and even perhaps, dimensions.
My question for the OSR community:
Is having a god a necessity for the human psyche? is believing in "something" a fundamental part of being human? Or is it merely a crutch?

If you read the bible, it says "the meek shall inherit the earth"

This isnt a prediction for the rapture or some crazy future episode.

This is just saying what already is.

The meek have inherited the earth, even though it wasnt something to… Read More

Hi Whitney,
You ask, "Is having a god a necessity for the human psyche? is believing in "something" a fundamental part of being human? Or is it merely a crutch?"

When I asked myself the same question over time, here's what came to my mind - more.

I've been coming here for about 6 or 8 weeks and enjoy the exchange.
