BTW, RG is not all that easy to navigate, don't you find?
Animism is what is generally practiced within Shamanism. Since I'm actually for the use of sacraments I tend towards this 'category'. Basically, its the belief that the Great Spirit (corny I know) can be seen in all things.
eg. Just because plate techtonics and orbital paths feel very alien to us, doesn't mean they werent created from the same process. Animism is kind of the Gaia hypothesis, but without the focus being entirely on the Earth.
I'm glad you got in touch with Stanley Krippner, thats a bonus if ever there was one.
Keep on Truckin!
BTW, Define 'Animism'. What about it attracts you as a religion?
Stanley Krippner sent me the following about my suggestion the use of the acronym, GOD, rather than the noun, God.
Stanley Krippner has sent you a message on Redefine God - Religion 2.0
This is not only a clever acronym, it is one of the best redefinitions of God I have come across. Read it once. Read it twice. It is quite profound!
