Many people are familiar with the verse in Acts 9.4-5, where Jesus asks  Paul, "Why persecutest thou me?...it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks."

Is Bart D. Ehrman a Putz?

One of my esteemed colleagues here recently called Professor Bart D. Ehrman a putz.

Equilibrium

equilibrium is the rule that allows the universe to exist, it holds everything and it describes everything. without equilibrium, the destruction of the world will happen at one point or another. 

the word "holds" sits very well with this, it can be interpreted in many ways and all are extremely relevant in science and philosophy.
