These do not even rise to the level of non sequiturs.  Psalvis has no clue what God's nature is.  There is no basis to surmise that "perfection never changes", or that the world of matter is ("by definition", no less! A pseudo-academic phrase if there ever was one...where's Roman?) imperfect. And automatons "by definition" have no free will, only their programming, which in Psalvis's case is NOT breaking down.

How can one not understand that simple concept. How can one experience feeding the hungry giving drink to the thirsty, comforting the sick and those in prison as Jesus commanded, without experiencing those things in the physical world. As you say we are the expression of God on this planet.

Do you close your prayers in Jesus' name? Why is it important to pray in His name? Why is simply saying the words not enough?

The Name of Jesus Christ. Name Above All Names ... We read in the Book of Acts, the importance of speaking the Name of Jesus: Acts 2:38

No Jesus is not a "christian" and yet that name is raised above all others as an incense to God the Father all over the world.

Does the name of you brother mean nothing to you? Is it just mumbo jumbo, or do you have a relationship with your brother and do you not call his name when you see him. And is his name not important to you?

There is power in the name of Jesus, our advocate with the Father.

Robert, earlier today, I was conversing with some "Hindu" friends in India who were maintaining the following:

  Amit said: "What I have learned is that soul is a pure light which is not directly effected by any type
  of bad actions done by human being but these activities effect our actions and thought process which
  result in shaping our karmas."

  Arvind responded in part: "The spirit is unaffected by the condition of the body or the mind.  All bad
  actions or habits disturb or harm the happiness of the mind only.  Spirit is forever blissful and
  ever unaffected by anything."

  To this, Johan replied: "The soul is an eternal point of light.  The soul drives the body which is the
  vehicle that the soul uses to experience and express.

  Although indivisible, the soul can be thought of as having 3 faculties - Mind, Intellect and Sanskaras.

  The sanskaras hold our tendencies, traits, predisposition.  They make each of us unique.

  When we come into matter, these sanskaras are in a pure and original state. 

  Over time, however, we become engaged in wrong action.  If repeated, this actions becomes etched or
  impressed on the soul and a bad habit is formed.  The bad habit does not ultimately reside in the body,
  it resides in me (the soul). 

  So over time, impurities are acquired and the original pure sanskaras become polluted.  As such, the
  light no longer shines as it once did.

  It is at the end of each kalpa that people are provided the knowledge to transform old sanskaras to
  their original form.  This means to achieve a state of perfection or liberation from the negative effects of
  karma."

Robert, you contend that the "True Self does not change and it is God's light.." and that all one can do is, "awaken slowly, stretch and fill your body... "

If you are suggesting that the soul is God's light I would suggest this is like saying a flower is sunshine from the sun.  In other words, if I understand what you are saying, I do not think it holds up under much scrutiny.  But we have had this conversation before.  We have God. . .  We have that which God radiates. . .   And we have Souls, as well as the associated body.  The soul receives God's radiation, however, the soul or true self is not that radiation any more than a radio receiver is equivalent to a radio wave or the associated transmission tower.

Robert, if you want to have a serious discussion on this, why not create a discussion forum.  You could write up a couple of paragraphs defining the topic and parameters of the discussion.  I'm sure I'm not the only one interested in having a serious discussion with you.  Are you interested in serious discussion?

Thanks for you comment Khem but I'm just trying to stake out some territory for you and Robert that would say underneath, at least some of the ideas you both express are recycled "Hindu" concepts.   If I understand correctly, you maintain that the soul is an expression of the body (right?) and, like Advind, Amit and sattaswami, Robert says, True Self (soul) does not change. 

All I'm wondering is why guys like you and Robert refuse to post a relatively comprehensive and coherent cosmology/theology that could be systematically examined by others.  It appears that you and Robert prefer to sit on the sidelines taking pot shots at those who portray ideas that are contrary to your own. The way to defend your ideas is to present them.

Come on Khem, the reality is that your knowledge is inferior to some of what has been presented here and rather than put your ideas before us, you attack the purveyors of new knowledge in exactly the same way they went after Jesus- for example.  No one here will go after you, in part, because you are not a threat here.  Actually, without providing any coherent background or context, your knowledge is pretty inaccessible. 

Anyway, your postings provide periodic levity around here.  Much appreciated.

Hey gross exaggerator and dense almost beyond repair..What in tarnation is "new" ion your franchise..it is actually bland warmed over and old horse meat..but..if you have some new ingredient besides horse manure mixed with straw please share..if "they" will let you.

and insofar as posting something "new" for you to assimilate into your unbelievably saccharine and sterile diet..everything I post is news to you but your caged and garaged machine mentality keeps you in the dark with a flashlight..so either return to Lala land and your favorite past time deep somnambulistic slumber.

Okay James that is wonderful and TRUE about His name..now tell me what does His Majesty Jesus King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Kernel wake up!!!) mean when He says "If your eye is single your whole body will be filled with Light?

Here is another remark and vision He gave to John the Revelator..chapter 12 in the Book of Books REvelation...Who is that woman clothed in the Sun..pregnant with a child that live 1260 days?

Take your time..goopgle it thoroughly and return with some "theories"  (Kernal,  you can pretend to be interested in Gods New Thing...but  a word of waqrning... if you become too interested you will backslide right pout of the franchise forever.
