Hey Robert your recent statement that "True Self does not change" sounds like the same rhetoric I hear from my "Hindu" associates as pointed out earlier. It sounds to me that you are simply rebranding old Gurdjieffian Hindu style mysticism. But that's OK. . . afterall, this is the Open Source Religion Site - a place where people can assemble their own spiritual doctrines according to their own inclinations and fancies. You exemplify the spirit of this site Robert - but I think some Christians would find it an offense for you to claim to be one of them in the same way they are critical of Mormons - for example.
Unless you are able to decode some scripture that substantiates the idea that the "True Self does not change", you would seem to be walking on thin Christian ice.
Anyway and as always, I appreciate your ideas and would en-courage you to systematically document some of them as they would provide some people, I'm sure, with a valuable Open Source Resource.

The body is the vehicle our soul inhabits. Nothing that goes into a man can make him unclean . Someone has established this same teaching of Jesus above.
But Jesus also said it is what comes out of a man that makes him unclean.
How does our clean soul cause something unclean to come out of us?
It would seem that there is another factor to consider. What is this sin agent that causes uncleanliness to come out of us and how does it get into us in the first place?
Anything that is not of faith, is sin. So if we do that which we we "believe" we should not do it is counted as sin no matter how good it may seem to others.
And of course sins of omission is when we do not do that which we "believe" we should do.
So what is it that makes us unclean? Why do we fail to follow what we believe?

Yes Khem, the lesser cannot know the greater. How can a lake know the ocean. Right? Yes the lake empties into the ocean and so the lesser is connected and some would even say "MERGED" in the knowledge of the Ocean - or the Ocean of knowledge.
So Khem, rather claim your knowledge "surpassed" mine, why not share this knowledge to others around here - if you can. I have no doubt that you know much more than I, but that does not make your knowledge accurate or correct. You may be deficient in understanding.
It is not the size of your intellect or your ability to somehow surpass the intellect of another. Such thinking is for fools. It is about accuracy of knowledge Khem and you should know that. And now you are sure to know.
So let's move along now. Why not offer us a coherent discussion forum or 2 regarding this unsurpassed knowledge of yours to see how it shines and stimulates or provokes some real spiritual churning around here. Else you could retreat into the shadows again and personally deface those who dare challenge you.

Robert the single eye parable seems it could fit right into my questions in my last post.
FAITH the single purpose of loving god by loving others as yourself.
As soon as you look away from that single purpose you are either not doing what you believe you should and you are instead doing that which you believe you should not.
I know next to nothing about Revelations, however it did say I believe in the end days the knowledge to interpret Revelations would be revealed to us. So I will now go and read Revelations and come back with whatever I can gleen from it. May the Holy Spirit open my eyes as I read it. Amen

At the core of your belief is something called, "The Free Gift of Salvation". I, like most on this planet, don't personally subscribe to this notion but do recognize it's importance and centrality to those who see Jesus as their personal savior.
I personally understand that Salvation requires divine knowledge and effort and communion or connection with the Supreme. I also understand that there are many, like you, who respond well to the notion that once saved, all sins (past, present and future) are absolved. I too believe that the negative effects of sin can be washed away but not by simple born again conversion to Christianity.
However, I accept that your belief is right and correct for you and hundreds of millions of other Christians. The doctrine of The Free Gift of Salvation is central to Christianity - but not to my belief system. Is that not acceptable to you Robert? Is this disallowed by you and is this how you give yourself the authority to demean the BKs. Your thinking is not evil, it is medieval.
