Hi Kernel,

Based on what you said above about the human soul.. What are you on this website for?? We are here to experience, to be subjects to change. What is the USE of knowing all the above or rejecting it?? Because we/"they lose their power and become weak" and "They remember and forget their nature."

If we are here just for the experience what difference does it make what we believe?

However, ss I have said to you before, I do not really care what you believe. Because my motto is:

If, whatever you believe makes you a better person, bellieve it!

Because I think we are here for only one reason and purpose, by using our intellect and freedom, to create the best possible character we can have. Because it is that part which determines the quality of our eternity.

Kernel, what will you be doing after your body dies?

Adriaan, I didn't receive notification of your comment or I would have responded sooner.

If I understand your point, you say we are here to learn, grow and become better people.

Not many people would disagree with you - yet, for many, the world is full of suffering, and rumors of war - fueled by human greed and ignorance.

What does it mean to become a better person and what must we learn, do and understand in order to accomplish this.  I am here to share and learn from others.

If life is the place we come to become better people, why would a child be born into drought and famine, for example, only to die after a few months?  It doesn't sound like that soul was given much of an opportunity to become a better person.  Does that sound fair to you?

The understanding that we are here to become better people is a nice idea and shared by many.  For me, the world makes more sense when I understand that souls enter this drama in their utmost state of purity.  I also understand that when a soul enters this world drama, it stays until the very end.  As Genesis and other books suggest, the first to enter are the great souls or deity souls.  Over time, as souls engage in wrongful action, the law of Karma begins to take effect and people begin to experience the negative consequences of their own actions. Human beings experience a succession of birth and rebirth - all the while accumulating bad habits and misunderstandings. Over time, the soul takes on certain impurities. As older souls go through this process of degeneration, new souls are continuously entering into the drama.

As said, your idea of becoming a better person is wonderful.  However, it requires knowledge of how to do this.  Is this not what religions have tried to show us in order that we can become better people.  Yet look at the mess the world is in today.  I have a real problem seeing history in terms of people becoming more more compassionate, tolerant, loving and selfless.

In this knowledge we understand that at the end of the drama, God comes to teach many things.  It is our highest state of purity attained at the end of this drama that determines where we enter into the next.  These ideas are new to many and also alien to most.  Most people will vaguely even look at them.  This is understood.

The bottom line is we are here now to become the best we can become as we prepare to return home to the Father once again.
