"The universe has a destiny—and this set fate could be reaching backwards in time and combining with influences from the past to shape the present. It’s a mind-bending claim, but some cosmologists now believe that a radical reformulation of quantum mechanics in which the future can affect the past could solve some of the universe’s biggest mysteries, including how life arose. What’s more, the researchers claim that recent lab experiments are dramatically confirming the concepts underpinning this reformulation."

Gene, thanks. Science is coming up with some pretty interesting evidence - such as that which you are sharing. What I find curious is, as exhibit "B" above might suggest, time does not appears to be a linear function but rather cyclic in nature. . . and, this notion has been suggested by the ancients for thousands of years. I first became exposed to the ancient meaning of the swastika and the image of Vishnu spinning the discus of time in India awhile back. The idea that destiny is predetermined is embodied in the notion of The Cycle of Time. As your exhibits suggest, the cycle repeats - with self replicating symmetry (although the ancients did not use such language). Now we live in an age where science might be showing us that the wisdom of the past can be quite remarkable - when properly understood in a modern context. If, as science might be inferring, the present can borrow "energy" from the past, for however briefly that may be, perhaps this is the quantum mechanism which allows the present to somehow "Pull" current reality into existence. If time is cyclic and it repeats itself, then it must repeat itself identically and indefinitely. Right? It's a joy to contemplate these mysteries and realize we are not the first to do so. Thanks again for sharing.

It seems logical to me that reciprocal motion is the most efficient method of existence. Perpetual-motion machines cannot be built because existence is already one. I also do not find it coincidental that Hindu mythology and cosmology make use of the same unfathomable time-frames in order to describe the cycles of the universe (eons of coming and going). The force of nature we call life is almost like the remainder of an equation that can never be balanced. Aum.

More eloquently:

"Who are you, God?"
"I Am becoming what I Am becoming."
Or
"I Am that I Am."
- Exodus 3:14

"We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time."

The verb tense isn't becoming Gene. It is I am what I am.

אהיה אשר אהיה‎
pronounced Ehyeh asher ehyeh
Hayah means "existed" or "was" in Hebrew; "ehyeh" is the first person singular imperfect form. Ehyeh asher ehyeh is generally interpreted to mean I am that I am, though it more literally translates as "I-shall-be that I-shall-be", giving it a sense of 'becoming' as Gene has more accurately expressed.

On closer scrutiny, PM could well be a false aspect of one of many such linear minor foci within a supremely larger RM mechanism altogether, which is possibly more than just cyclic and akin to an organic breathing process belonging to the known and unknown universe as a whole consciousness-led entity within itself.
