Hey Robert,

Thought you might be interested in Dr. Nityanand Nair's ideas regarding the 7 Rays of Raja Yoga.  He is a BK who sees light and BK knowledge as such - more.

Cheers.

Robert, please do not flood the http://www.opensourcereligion.net/page/about-the-belief-genome page with material that has nothing to do with the project. Thank you for helping to keep the community on track and productive.

Yes Robert, I believe I have a certain developed will power.

I try to maintain a healthy 'ego' sense of self-awareness, which overtime has enabled me to understand, overcome and take control over the internal biological influences of the 'id', and the external social influences of the 'superego'. Personality functions as a whole but consists of these three systems. However, the extent of each person's personality development and achievement of a balanced 'ego' consciousness depends on a coming to an awareness that these internal and external influences even exist for our 'ego' states to battle with and overcome to gain mastery and control over them. Without understanding this, we remain as a blade of grass being tossed by the wind.

Human behaviour is determined by psychic energy operating between these three agencies which are in competion with each other. The 'id' contains inherited drives, unmodified by the passage of time. It is chaotic, illogical, immoral, fluid, demanding and governed by the 'pleasure principle'.

The 'ego' develops from the 'id' under environmental influence. Its function (when realised) is to maintain the psychic balance between the demands of the 'id', the 'superego' and external reality. The 'ego' controls consciousness, is logical and governed by the 'reality priciple'.

It seems that we will go around and around forever with Datta on how he understands Jesus....he has a very poor and deficient understanding of the Bible and of who Jesus is.  Basically he is stuck in Hinduism.  And Kernel is also a hard nut to crack...bless his heart.
