I like Hubbard's questions in response to misused science. Not gloom and doom, but positivity. I might go see her in Boise soon…

Is she a Boise resident? Perhaps we should get in touch with her.

Hubbard believes that humanity, having "come to possess the powers that we used to attribute to the gods", is presently in a critical and dangerous "Late Transition" to "the next stage of human evolution" which began in 1945 with the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. She promotes the idea of Conscious Evolution, defined as "evolution of evolution, from unconscious to conscious choice" or "an awakening of a 'memory' that resides in the synthesis of human knowing, from spiritual to social to scientific", as "the only solution" for avoiding global destruction and entering into a utopian "future of immeasurable possibilities."

Good vibrations to lift the veil of humanity's (I similarly believe) despondent path.

I believe evolution is attaining consciousness of Itself via the undifferentiated brain of the human being. That as people we are insignificant to the unfolding of the universe, but as single units awakened to and open to the possiblities of co creation we can rise above our subjective little lives. I have some difficulty with the concepts in the Secret as all I have seen it promote are people becoming even more intense about their subjective lives - seeking immediate wealth and so on. Most ancient orders (one of which I am a member) gradually, very slowly but surely raise us above the ability of being fixated on the self and learning to identify with All. They all have in common the evolution of human consciousness. The philosophers stones of alchemy is not (as I've no doubts most here already know) about turning metal into gold - it is about transmuting the dross of the old personality into the gold of the new. I am deeply interested in watching the full dvd on Human Ascending and thank Zijan for making that trailer available.

@davidbgoode People don't rely on definition to believe in a God, they rely on belief. OSR promotes exploration and clarity of beliefs.

As interesting as the idea of Open Source Religion is, why? If God can be defined by us, why have one at all? http://t.co/AE0FCIwJAa
